Direct Benefits of STAT Teacher Membership

  • Confirmation to the public of your status as a qualified and registered member of a professionally respected society with approved qualification code of conduct, ethics and complaints mechanism.   • Professional Indemnity Insurance (UK and Republic of Ireland Members only), you have the benefit of knowing you are covered to teach at any location without any additional expenditure aside from location specific public liability insurance.

  • Recourse to STAT’s regulatory rules and policies for support in the event of a dispute or claim.

  • As a new Teacher Member of STAT in your first year after graduation, and whilst you build up your new practice, STAT offers you a £100 credit which you can use either towards your membership fees or towards purchasing promotional material or booking a STAT CPD place. In your second year as a new Teacher Member you are entitled to one free STAT CPD.
